Post subject:  Where some Names Titles (Sub-parts Freeforms) of the map ?

Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of BeGraphic and it looks great!

I am trying to create an interactive map of the state of Iowa in the Unites States.
When I place the map on an Excel spreadsheet, most of the names of the counties (free forms / freeforms) are missing.

See below. Can you help me fix this?
Eric

Dear BeGraphic user,

Excel has 1 problem & 2 major bugs with shapes (already explained here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=90) :
  • Excel allows to put a text inside a basic shape, but not in a freeform... until Excel2010
(Therefore you have to add another dedicated textbox only to write a title)
    Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d58cC2ldK-4
    .
  • When you ungroup a multi-level shape, it happens from time to time that
Excel adds invisible shapes or changes the level of your sub-shapes (hiding the one you want to see)
(Therefore you have to "bring forward" or "send to back" the shapes to see what you want at the first level)
    Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hImgf2wzsfM
    .
  • When you ungroup a multi-level shape, it happens from time to time that
Excel duplicates several times a same sub-part and moves the clones few pixels away (tiny gap between each other).

To prevent this bug, when you insert a BeGraphic map, the option "Delete duplicate shapes" is activated.
But sometimes you really need all sub-shapes... even the ones with the same size (with a tiny gap).
If so, please uncheck the tickmark "Delete duplicate shapes"... and destroy manually the sub-shapes you don't want.

Good luck
