I downloaded BeGraphics Lite because I am looking for a program to help me make a map of the US and break the map down into regions representing my professional organizations districts. BeGraphics sounded easy, but I am lost.

I see BeGraphics in Excel, but can't make it work. Do I list states in Column A and numbers to represent the districts in Column B? How is that converted into a map of the US that color codes the regions?

However, to assign a color to a state, you right click on the state (Unless you are on Excel 2007, select the state and then click the SET PARAMETERS on the BeGraphic menu) > BeGraphic parameters, so you have two menus Colour & Pattern and Line / Borders. You link with your color field of the cell that you want (Do not forget to click on UPDATE ANIMATION).
