I have tried to select the alternate guage orientations that are available under the complete round category. Each time I select one of the orientations other than the left most "standard orientation" when the guage is created in Excel the orientation reverts back to the lefmost "standard orientation". Any idea why the guage choice I select is not maintained when the guage appears in Excel?

First of all, which version do you use (Excel / BeGraphic / Example & help / about) ?
Current version is explained here: http://www.begraphic.com/download.html
Our advice is to use the latest version before talking about a bug.

Second, as I have tested different orientations and everything is fine,
could you more precise (naming the exact function you use or doing screenshots) ?
If it helps, you can also send us your Excel file (uploading it in this forum).

Regards

I am having this issue as well I am using version 1.21.20 x86 + MS Excel 2007 - if i select a semi circle shape gauge with a vertical orientation to start ..if i then select the display label in the extension of the needle and not only does the visual graphic change but so does the orientation of the gauge change to its original horizontal orientation - also the gauge selection screen is greyed and any other orientation selection is not possible with the "display lable in the extension of the needle" switched on). If you go take off the display label in the extension of the needle you can select all orientations. I need to be able to display a label for a virtical semi circle/half circle type. - Can anyone please help - I have uploaded screen shots of this problem in action.

Dear BeGraphic user

With BeGraphic if you enable the label option, you cannot have a different orientation than the "Standard oritentation".

It's a technical limitation of the current version. With the version 2 (end of 2011), you will get both a rotation and labels on the same gauge.

Best regards
